About Us
Welcome to Ambercreek, the home of Linda and James Mullen, whose hobby is raising Golden Retrievers of superior quality and the occasional foal. We are located at the end of the beautiful Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia, in the little farming community of Clementsvale. Here our goldens and horses have 90 acres of fields and woodland in which to roam. Our dogs have a fenced in backyard to play in, as well as many walking trails and wood roads to run on. It is a gentle country setting with a little amber creek winding past the front of our home.
For over 23 years we have been dedicated to preserving the versatility, beauty, and intelligence of the golden retriever. Ambercreek raises, breeds, shows, and imports goldens that we feel will achieve our desire to produce a golden that will surpass any other breed. All of our dogs, before being bred, are cleared of hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia, cataracts, and heart abnormalities. We are a member of the Canadian Kennel Club, and our dogs are CKC registered. Puppies are sold on a non-breeding registration, and have a health and temperament guarantee for two years.
We at times offer our puppies for sale to both show and pet homes. Our aim is to produce a beautiful, healthy dog that will exceed expectations. Our puppies are raised in our home and receive many hours of attention. Puppies are placed in approved homes only, where we know they will be loved and cared for 200%. We enjoy visiting the homes our puppies have been placed in and receive a great deal of satisfaction in knowing they are bringing happiness to others as they have done us.
